Is there anything I can disable or delete within my coding or site that will prevent them from finding me?

Can I some how block them from gaining access to me via blocking their IPs?

ANYTHING?!

Update:
I used the IP deny module in CPanel to block two IPs from two spam guestbook entries. Since then I have gone the longest without any spam.

My question is: am I potentially blocking innocent people from viewing my site? Or JUST the evil spammer?

Yeah, bots crawl the web... you need to put a file in your website and call it robots.txt From there you need to add this line:

User-agent: *Disallow: /

Hope that helps
